Why is IPF diagnosis challenging?
Luca Richeldi explains why IPF diagnosis is challenging
So the diagnosis of IPF is particularly challenging because the symptoms are very subtle in the beginning, the disease is progressive, plus chest x-ray is not very useful for the diagnosis and even lung function in the early phases can be normal.
